Insurance Disclosure

Enclosed Vehicle Transport (EVT) operates under comprehensive insurance arrangements to protect our clients, the public, and our operations while transporting prestigious motor vehicles.

The following is a summary of the key insurance policies held by Precision Transfer Solutions Pty Ltd (T/A Enclosed Vehicle Transport).

Carrier’s Cargo Insurance

Insured Services

    • Road Transport Operator only
    • Coverage applies solely to vehicles transported by EVT under a confirmed booking
    • Warehouse or storage locations are not insured under this policy

Insured Freight

    • Prestigious Motor Vehicles

Period of Insurance

    • Start: 19th January 2026
    • Expiry: 19th January 2027
    • Coverage applies from 4:00pm local standard time on both the start and expiry dates (issuing office time)

Limits of Liability

Section A – Carrier’s Cargo Cover

    • AUD $4,000,000 any one occurrence
    • AUD $4,000,000 in the aggregate

Freight Protection Extension – Comprehensive Cover

    • AUD $4,000,000 any one conveyance and/or location

Sub-Limits

(Part of, and not in addition to, the Section A Limit of Liability)

    • Removal of Debris & Clean-Up Costs:
      • AUD $100,000 any one occurrence
    • Restricted Freight:
      • AUD $100,000 any one occurrence
      • AUD $100,000 in the aggregate
    • Mitigation Costs & Expenses:
      • AUD $100,000 any one occurrence

High-Value Vehicle Disclosure

    • Any vehicle insured or valued in excess of AUD $2,000,000 must be declared at the time of enquiry.
    • Clients must contact EVT prior to booking to confirm availability and approval.
    • Transport dates will be scheduled to ensure the total combined insured value on any single transport does not exceed AUD $4,000,000, in line with policy limits.
    • Failure to declare high-value vehicles may result in reduced or void insurance coverage.

Public Liability Insurance

EVT holds Public Liability Insurance with a limit of AUD $20,000,000, providing cover for legal liability arising from personal injury or property damage to third parties arising from EVT transport operations.

Comprehensive Vehicle Insurance

All EVT transport vehicles are covered by Comprehensive Motor Vehicle Insurance, providing cover for loss of or damage to EVT-owned transport equipment, including the enclosed transport truck and body build, subject to policy terms and conditions.

Important Information

    • Insurance applies only while vehicles are in EVT’s care, custody, and control during active transport
    • Cover is subject to all applicable policy terms, conditions, exclusions, and excesses
    • Declared vehicle value is mandatory at the time of booking
    • EVT insurance does not cover personal belongings left inside the vehicle

Clients are strongly encouraged to maintain their own comprehensive motor insurance, particularly for high-value, rare, or motorsport vehicles.
